Roadhouse Pub & Eatery
About Roadhouse Pub & Eatery
Roadhouse Brewing Co. opened its Pub & Eatery at 20 E Broadway in downtown Jackson as an extension of the brewery, and the bi-level space still functions as a working test kitchen: diners here get first crack at beers before Roadhouse distributes them nationwide. A five-barrel brew house sits behind more than 30 taps, with the flagship Highwayman pilsner advertised on the site as the "World's best pilsner."
Executive Chef Martin Levitz runs a kitchen built around local, seasonal sourcing paired with the beer list. The burger program is a clear house strength: an 8-ounce beef patty with white cheddar, iceberg, house pickles, and a roasted shallot-garlic-bacon aioli sits alongside an 8-ounce Durham Ranch bison burger loaded with white cheddar, bourbon bacon onion jam, arugula, and fried onions on a brioche bun. Beyond burgers, the menu runs to fried chicken thighs glazed in Korean barbecue sauce over white cheddar grits, pan-roasted steelhead trout with warm bacon vinaigrette and a winter root vegetable succotash, and braised boneless short rib set on cauliflower risotto with roasted butternut squash. Shareables include a Wilson beer pretzel with IPA cheese dip and pub mustard, fried Brussels sprouts, buffalo wings with blue cheese, and venison tostadas.
Street level houses a Pub Shop selling Roadhouse merchandise and crowler fills to go, alongside treats from two other Jackson-area makers: Gavin's Cream + Sugar artisan ice cream and Bovine + Swine cured meats and sausage. It's a setup that rewards a slow visit โ order a flight, wander the shop, then sit down to eat.
Dine-in service runs daily from 11:30 a.m. to 11 p.m., with takeout available until 9 p.m. The restaurant takes reservations by phone at (307) 458-1112, and the full menu is also available for online ordering through Toast.
