Best Après-Ski Restaurants in Jackson Hole

Jackson Hole après-ski culture is different from what you'll find at most resorts. There's no single massive base lodge where everyone congregates—instead, the scene splits between Teton Village at the mountain base and downtown Jackson, about 12 miles away. Both have their merits, and where you end up often depends on whether you want to keep the ski boots on a bit longer or clean up for a proper dinner.

At Teton Village, The Spur has become the go-to spot for locals who want a quality cocktail and actually good food without the hotel restaurant markup—the daily après window runs 3:30–5:00pm, and the patio's fireplaces fill up fast on sunny days. For something more upscale, the Four Seasons' Steadfire Chophouse (which took over from Westbank Grill in July 2025) serves steaks in a setting that feels appropriately fancy after a day of skiing. If you're staying on the mountain and want to keep it casual, Il Villaggio Osteria does reliable Italian that won't break the bank (relatively speaking—this is still Jackson).

Tram Dock opened at the aerial tram base in December 2024, taking over from RPK3 with vintage resort décor and a historic tram car—grab a seat on the patio when the weather cooperates. It runs a seasonal schedule (roughly mid-May through early October) with happy hour from 3pm to close. Up at mid-mountain, Trapper's at Solitude Station—the Sweetwater Gondola mid-station, opened for the 2024–25 winter season—offers a refined lunch with views that justify the gondola ride.
