Pica's Mexican Taqueria operates out of 1160 Alpine Ln in Jackson, and its own site touts recognition from Food Network along with local honors for "Best Mexican Restaurant" and "Best Place to Get a Margarita" in Jackson, plus a mention in Food & Wine Magazine. A sister location operates under the same name in Colorado.

The menu is large by taqueria standards. Burritos ($12–$21) come in chicken tinga, chicken al carbón, carne asada, carnitas, grilled vegetable, bean and cheese, chicken mole poblano, grilled shrimp, and grilled wahoo versions, with a wet-burrito option for an extra $3.50. Tacos run $6–$9 à la carte or $15–$19 as a full entrée, in al pastor, carne asada, chicken, carnitas, grilled or Baja fish, and grilled or Baja shrimp styles. Dinner brings enchiladas ($17–$20) in chicken al carbón, carne asada, vegetable, and chicken mole versions, alongside a full range of quesadillas, tortas, and salads — including a tostada salad, a Puya chicken salad, and a chopped salad. The antojitos section covers popcorn shrimp, a drunken bean dip, and Pica's own nachos, and the kitchen also turns out chiles rellenos, a hanger steak, sopes, chilaquiles, and soups.

Pica's is open every day of the week, from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., according to its own site. Beyond the menu and its accolades, the website doesn't get into the restaurant's founding story or who owns it, and we couldn't confirm whether Pica's takes reservations or runs counter-service/walk-in only — nothing on the site addresses it either way, so calling ahead at (307) 734-4457 is the safer bet for a larger group.
